Develop and test software, including ongoing code refactoring and continuous improvement of code structure and quality
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative product solutions
Write code and API specifications, conduct code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints, and create proof of concepts and automation tools
Participate as a core member of an Agile team in user story analysis, design, software development, testing, and build automation tools
Work on a specific platform/product or on projects assigned according to demand and business priority
Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
Use UNIX, Linux, Postman, and CI/CD tools
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
Conceptualize user-friendly solutions to complex design roadblocks
Present and defend designs and milestone deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders
Design, code, test, maintain, and document applications
Review own work and colleagues’ work
Define test conditions based on requirements and specifications
Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement system applications
Develop and document technical and functional specifications and analyze software and system processing flows

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer Science or equivalent OR master’s in computer applications or equivalent
8 to 12 years of experience is required
Familiarity with Agile or other rapid application development methods
Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate
Java and Kotlin
Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing
Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Confirmed experience with object-oriented design and coding with a variety of languages
Participation in code reviews and automated testing
