About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality full-stack software solutions using Java and Python
Lead implementation of distributed systems focused on performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence
Own feature delivery from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and production support
Guide software engineering, testing, documentation, and continuous delivery best practices in an Agile environment
Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Build and evolve RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems with strong service contracts and backward compatibility
Improve CI/CD pipelines, automate testing, and enhance developer productivity
Identify bottlenecks, debug complex production issues, and perform root-cause analysis
Develop systems emphasizing scalability, resilience, observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting
Contribute to cloud-native transformation initiatives, including containerization, infrastructure as code, and auto-scaling architectures
Deliver high-impact outcomes aligned with team and organizational goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in Java and working knowledge of Python for backend or data-driven applications
Deep experience with Java ecosystems and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or equivalent technologies
Proven full-stack development experience, including backend services and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations
Understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and performance optimization
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native development patterns
Experience with test data generation, unit testing, and test execution
Experience with Open API/Swagger, API versioning, and contract-driven development
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development lifecycle practices
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG (preferred)
Linux and Unix shell proficiency (preferred)
Experience with NGINX, HAProxy, Envoy, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform (preferred)
Git source control skills (preferred)
Experience with observability and monitoring platforms (preferred)
Understanding of JVM internals and diagnostic tools such as thread dumps, heap dumps, JFR, and VisualVM (preferred)
