About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support planning and execution of AHLA and AHLA Foundation meetings and signature events
  • Manage event registration processing, inquiries, data entry, refunds, cancellations, badges, attendee lists, confirmations, invoices, tracking, onsite registration, and financial reconciliation data
  • Serve as the department’s Cvent platform super user and create new events
  • Assist with meeting logistics, supplies, signage, shipments, and related items
  • Maintain the Industry Events Calendar
  • Create and maintain department pages on the AHLA website and Cvent platform
  • Manage logistics for in-office meetings and local dinners
  • Manage housing and overflow arrangements, rooming lists, and hotel pickup reports
  • Assist with association committees and special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to travel (5-10%)
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds
  • Cvent knowledge is helpful; proper training will be provided if Cvent is not known
  • Relevant skills and experience; exact checklist match is not required
