Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assign new patients and hospital consultations to designated physicians
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties and projects
  • Perform all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures
  • Manage competing priorities and demands from various stakeholders and sites
  • Work effectively with sensitive, confidential, and sometimes emotionally charged matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
  • High interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations
  • Analytical ability to gather and summarize data, solve administrative problems, and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of secretarial and office administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment through related experience
  • Valid Driver’s license in state of residency for travel to clinics is required
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness
  • Good command of the English language
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with weekend shifts based on location hours and operational needs
