Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients under physician direction
  • Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures and produce accurate images
  • Prepare, calculate, administer, measure, and record radiopharmaceutical dosages
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, calibration, and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Maintain imaging and laboratory equipment and comply with safety and quality standards
  • Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide assistance during examinations
  • Protect patient rights and maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality
  • Maintain active state licensure and continuing education requirements
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment
  • Assist with training new employees
  • Support clinic operations across locations and work overtime as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school education required
  • Minimum of one (1) year active experience as a PET/CT Technologist is required
  • State CRT license
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) license
  • BLS certification required
  • Must pass Nuclear Medicine or PET Registry exam within 6 months of hire if recent graduate
  • ARRT Certification preferred
  • Will consider recent graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program who is eligible to sit for their registry
  • Ability to work across locations and overtime as needed to meet business demands
  • Travel: 0-25%
