About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience (four to eight years of work experience in a related field) is required
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively discuss procedures and medical issues with patients, families and physicians
  • Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
  • Minimum height of 60 inches may be required to safely operate Red Cross vehicles
  • Ability to set up and tear down equipment for mobile blood drives
  • Basic computer skills are desirable
  • Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) is preferred
  • Prior leadership experience exceeding 3 years in a healthcare setting is preferred
