About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goals through drive management activities, including on-site recruitment, presentations, online appointment scheduling and data entry, sign-up tables, and recruitment meeting preparation
  • Provide oversight and record keeping in Hemasphere and the online scheduling system (OLS)
  • Track statistical data on sponsor group performance
  • Provide organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators
  • Schedule and implement education programs for sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer tele-recruiters
  • Use organizational tools, technology, and strategies to enhance customer service, efficiency, and productivity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience
  • 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
  • Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and ability to effectively implement programs preferred
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills
  • Current valid driver's license and good driving record
  • May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization
  • Sales experience preferred
