About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct on-site and in-person investigations
- Determine claim compensability
- Establish reserves

- Ensure appropriate benefits are provided under applicable Workers' Compensation laws

- Travel frequently within a designated territory, with rare overnight travel
- Work remotely
Requirements
What you’ll need- Claims experience highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree or related professional business experience acceptable
- State license to handle Workers' Compensation claims if required
- Professional written and verbal communication skills required
- World class customer service attitude required
- Ability to learn and use proprietary software and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to be self-directed
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and acceptable vehicle required
- Frequent travel within a designated territory required
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the territory this position covers
- Completion of pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, 10-panel drug test, and, if applicable, motor vehicle report review
- Safety-sensitive position because driving is required for the company
