Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician
- Must be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals
- Experience rooming patients
- Experience assisting in surgery and surgical recovery
- Experience placing IV catheters
- Experience drawing blood and running bloodwork
- Experience with x-ray and proper positioning
- Experience using laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of animal behavior and healthcare
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Understand the importance of client education
- Team Player willing to continue to learn
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
