About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team with individual objectives, task management, 1:1s, annual reviews, status reports, and project planning
Oversee the technology roadmap with development and leadership teams to improve Vendor Management Systems software costs and capabilities
Oversee and lead software development processes and continuous integration
Adhere to coding policies, technical documentation, and operational discipline
Participate in all Software Development Life Cycle aspects, including technical requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
Maintain and migrate legacy technology layers to modern industry-standard technologies
Ensure product quality goals are met or exceeded
Participate in and facilitate level 3 on-call support
Manage vendors and subcontractors, including offshore and out-of-time-zone resources
Mentor and guide a multi-disciplined team while collaborating with non-technical subject-matter experts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree plus 7-10 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 11-14 years of work experience
Experience with Data Warehouse design with integration into Business Intelligence systems
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, including SOA and SaaS, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, REST & RPC, JSON, Microservices, and Web Content Management Technologies
Experience with statistical modeling tools such as R and IBM SPSS
Ability to effectively use technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, support decision-making, and enhance business outcomes while adhering to company policies and responsible AI practices
Excellent communication skills
Proven team leadership skills with emphasis on timely quality delivery
Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
