About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Controllers, Revenue Management, and FP&A teams to define and prioritize product vision and strategy for finance functions
- Support budgeting cycles by optimizing Pigment for strategic financial analysis and forecasting
- Own the Record to Report value chain and prioritize the NetSuite, BlackLine, and Pigment product roadmap
- Bridge technical accounting requirements, including ASC 606, month-end close, and audit readiness, with system architecture
- Ensure NetSuite ARM, BlackLine, Zip, and Pigment comply with evolving accounting standards
- Translate business requirements into epics and user stories within an Agile framework
- Collaborate with development and system administration teams to deliver documented, controlled, high-quality product features
- Measure product performance and organizational feedback to identify process improvements
- Manage product documentation, organizational change management, training plans, and supporting materials
- Align the technology stack with company strategy and long-term goals
- Coordinate with Product Owners to ensure billing and accounts receivable data flows correctly into revenue and general ledger reporting
- Plan, facilitate, and monitor User Acceptance Testing for implementations, improvements, and upgrades
- Partner with IT, Security, and Audit on General IT Controls governance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with other Business Systems Product Owners on upstream and downstream process changes affecting financial transactions and reporting
- Lead product delivery in an Agile/Scrum team by refining the backlog, balancing automation and enhancements, and creating IT requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 to 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- Experience working with NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management)
- Experience working with ASC 606 for accounting and finance processes, particularly revenue recognition, journal entries, Record to Report, Close cycles, and consolidations
- Experience with at least one full SaaS-based ERP implementation
- Experience working with Pigment for managing or implementing FP&A solutions; Anaplan or Workday Adaptive Planning experience considered
- Experience with Month-End Closing tools, specifically BlackLine
- Experience developing, testing through the full testing cycle, and deploying customizations, custom objects, system configurations, and new functionality
- Experience solving problems at integration points such as Salesforce, Concur, Workday, and data warehouses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing clear and concise product requirements and user stories
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to use data for decision-making and prioritization
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience working in an agile development environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple business initiatives simultaneously
- Strong project management experience, Agile or Waterfall
- Ability to accurately identify tasks and estimate work
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technologies, finance, accounting, or experience in a related field
- Background check required if selected
- Ability to work in the United States and answer United States work authorization and visa sponsorship questions
