About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of Biosimilar Biologic Specialty Representatives for an assigned client program
- Deliver results and meet program objectives based on contract specifications
- Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, administration, performance management, corrective action, and employee development
- Work with the Client team to identify and execute goals
- Communicate team objectives and promote teamwork and shared goals
- Manage team members’ training needs
- Monitor productivity, workload, outputs, goals, standards, policies, and processes
- Address issues through corrective action, engaging Compliance and senior leadership as appropriate
- Assess performance against project progress, results, and timelines; create and deliver development plans and performance appraisals
- Develop and mentor team members through individual and team meetings
- Monitor policy and procedure compliance and resolve issues with Amplity Compliance
- Manage conflict and employee relations, engaging Human Resources when appropriate
- Provide administrative oversight of attendance, time-off approvals, schedules, expense reports, and related documentation
- Develop and implement business plans aligned with client priorities
- Manage team expenses within contract requirements
- Monitor project status and changes; develop solutions and escalate issues affecting revenue or client expectations
- Maintain project files and reports
- Assist the team with CRM use, activity reports, sales reports, and other technology requirements
- Report to the Amplity National Sales Director
- Collaborate with the Client’s Customer Team Leader, customers, and client contacts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 2+ years of sales management experience in pharmaceuticals
- A minimum of 3+ years of medical device, or pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience with buy and bill model and/or business to business discussions preferred
- Complex account and territory management experience preferred
- Knowledge of biosimilars preferred
- Experience and understanding of hospital and clinic contracting, account management, and/or account-based selling preferred
- Ethical and strong compliance in a regulated industry
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different/matrixed parts of the client organization
- Exceptional project management skills
- Excellent people management/supervisory skills; ability to develop Sales Representatives and lead and mentor the team
- Strong process facilitation, problem solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and maintain required technical expertise, including competitive product knowledge
- Excellent selling, persuasion, and presentation skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete projects and assignments with high levels of initiative, effort, and commitment
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing sales talent; manage turnover and vacancy processes
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels inside and outside the company
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Successful completion of client training
- Ability to travel to work-related meetings and functions, including overnight and/or weekend travel
- Valid driver's license
- May be required to submit and maintain credentials, training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to access hospitals or healthcare providers
- May be required to obtain specific representative licenses in certain jurisdictions or hospital systems
