About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic engagements within VA key institutions
- Build partnerships within VA Medical Centers/VISNs as the primary point of contact
- Position the company’s products, foster collaboration, and drive optimal patient outcomes while achieving business objectives
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for each VA medical center
- Establish and maintain relationships with VA hospital stakeholders and decision-makers
- Identify opportunities for growth and collaboration
- Drive revenue growth by achieving or surpassing sales targets
- Conduct presentations and discussions highlighting clinical benefits, safety profiles, and therapeutic advantages of company products
- Identify unmet needs within VA systems/VISNs and deliver compliant solutions aligned with organizational priorities and patient care objectives
- Maintain knowledge of the therapeutic area, treatment guidelines, clinical research, and competitive landscape
- Stay informed on innovations and emerging trends to refine account strategies
- Use CRM tools to manage account data, monitor progress, and track KPIs
- Ensure activities comply with regulatory guidelines, corporate policies, and ethical standards
- Report account activities, challenges, and opportunities to regional and national leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree a plus
- Substantial experience in pharmaceutical sales and account management and VA experience
- Experience in dermatology and or biologics a plus
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Awareness of healthcare regulations, formulary processes, and access dynamics within the VA systems
- Ability to travel weekly as needed required
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital meeting platforms required
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required
- Successfully pass all Amplity and client required training required
- May be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation, to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers
- May be required to obtain specific representative licenses in certain jurisdictions or hospital systems
