About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct and oversee the organization’s sales function to meet revenue and profit goals
  • Provide executive oversight of RFQ evaluations and communicate bid/no-bid decisions
  • Lead stakeholder identification and strategic pursuit plans for high-value RFQs
  • Oversee historical quote and order-data analysis to improve technical accuracy, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning
  • Direct review of commercial and technical bid documents and collaborate with legal and finance on corporate requirements
  • Ensure proposal documentation, data sheets, technical logs, and commercial logs are accurate and complete
  • Allocate and coordinate technical and engineering resources for complex RFQs
  • Represent the organization through high-level technical presentations
  • Maintain executive-level visibility into the sales pipeline and address barriers to opportunity progression
  • Oversee quote database maintenance
  • Lead revenue forecasts, sales performance reports, and executive presentations
  • Provide strategic direction for sales analytics, KPI reporting, win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, and pipeline health assessments
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive sales training programs
  • Assist in hiring decisions, performance management, and terminations
  • Assist management in developing processes, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to departmental strategic planning, direction, and goal setting
  • Approve or decline RFQ bid submissions
  • Set pricing strategies using material cost, labor, overhead, and margin analysis
  • Review bid documents and provide clarifications or exceptions for accuracy and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with senior executive management, sales, engineering, marketing, production, finance, and legal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in sales/technology integration field
  • 4+ years of successful sales experience in systems integration or related technical sales
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work
  • Customer service skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Driven self-starter able to function effectively in a growing organization
  • Strong strategic planning and forecasting capabilities
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with relevant markets
  • Advanced technical understanding or certifications in industry-related technologies or sales methodologies
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse cross-functional team
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time
