About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and manage compensation governance requests from submission through final approval and processing
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Directors of Operations, Operations leaders, Center Administrators, and Payroll to facilitate compensation-related transactions
  • Review requests for completeness, accuracy, policy alignment, and required approvals
  • Coordinate Compensation Governance Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, meeting-material preparation and distribution, decision documentation, and action-item follow-up
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for the governance process
  • Track and monitor governance workflow timelines and follow up on outstanding items
  • Maintain documentation and records related to compensation approvals, market adjustments, incentives, promotions, and other compensation actions
  • Provide guidance on compensation processes, policies, and governance requirements
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiencies within compensation programs
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and status updates for leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience partnering and building relationships with cross-functional HR, Operations, and Payroll stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate meetings, develop agendas, prepare materials, document outcomes, and track action items
  • Strong analytical skills, including reviewing data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar workflow/project management tools preferred
  • Experience supporting governance, approval, compliance, or workflow management processes preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong customer service mindset with responsiveness, follow-through, and stakeholder support
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Compensation, Human Resources, Payroll, Operations, Project Coordination, or a related function
