About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage multiple projects and liaise between functional groups across the organization
Manage projects supporting company strategy and expansion
Adhere to written EPMO project-management processes
Maintain project documentation for project audits
Build and maintain relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments
Own stakeholder management, set customer expectations, and sustain customer satisfaction
Oversee all aspects of the project life cycle, including user requirements and testing timelines
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders
Use project-plan and artifact templates throughout projects
Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Identify and resolve project-team issues and conflicts
Manage project dependencies and critical path
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Manage changes in project scope and budget and lead contingency plans
Define and disseminate project success criteria
Conduct project postmortems and drive continuous improvement
Help standardize practices and consolidate project tracking methods
Engage with senior team members to develop project-management skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
A minimum of two (2) years of previous project management experience
PMI certification preferred, including CAPM
Experience working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines
Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to defuse tension among project team members
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to conduct research into project-related issues and products
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Competence with Microsoft suite of products, including Visio and Power BI
