About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to campus operations, faculty, and campus staff
- Process and ensure accuracy of purchase orders, check requests, payroll, new hire packets, petty cash, and related documents
- Initiate onboarding and benefits processes for new employees
- Provide direct administrative support to campus staff and backup support for executive assistant, enrollment compliance officer, and receptionist roles
- Maintain vendor relations and assist in obtaining new vendors
- Communicate with vendors, corporate personnel, Home Office teammates, and campus staff regarding purchases and purchase orders
- Support completion of enrollment paperwork
- Perform data entry
- Maintain confidentiality of employee files, student files, payables, and other information
- Respond to teammates’ concerns, inquiries, or suggestions
- Contribute to a safe, secure, and supportive work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask, possess a high level of communication skills, and be detail-oriented
- 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Preferred: Associate’s degree from an accredited academic institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Preferred: Experience in purchasing/inventory
- Preferred: 4–5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform the listed physical duties, including prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
