About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and maintain Andritz Quality Assurance System on site
- Ensure quality requirements are followed at site according to Installation Manuals
- Act as local contact with customer and authorities for quality matters
- Follow up inspections according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
- Receive material at site using inventory database and tracking system
- Perform and/or witness inspections with the customer and site team
- Initiate and follow up on non-conformities
- Collect quality records and prepare final quality documentation
- Collaborate with Installation Supervisors to ensure compliance with Installation Manuals
- Contribute to quality and excellence in execution of Engineered Machinery projects
- Work in the site office documenting work and directly on site ensuring work is performed as expected
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
- General knowledge on mechanical measurement devices
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Effective communication skills in French & English (oral and written)
- Ability to analyze data
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and flexible with work schedule
- Knowledge of AutoCAD an asset
- Practical knowledge of 3D measuring equipment, an asset
- On site Safety training an asset
- Passion for Quality and integrity
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Result and solution-oriented approach
- Self-driven, resourceful, rigorous
- Legal status to work in Canada is required
