About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end recruiting across Business Development, Government Relations, and Program Management, with flex capacity for adjacent Growth hiring
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to each sub-function
  • Conduct candidate screens assessing functional depth, customer knowledge, and organizational fit
  • Manage interviews from intake through close, including hiring-manager calibration, panel preparation, debrief facilitation, and driving offers to signature
  • Partner with BD and Growth leaders to understand hiring needs, team composition, and successful candidate profiles
  • Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, cleared-talent concentration, and recruiting strategy
  • Provide pipeline updates and market intelligence
  • Influence role design and leveling using external market perspective
  • Own the candidate experience from outreach through close
  • Maintain ATS/CRM data integrity for reporting, capacity planning, and pipeline analytics
  • Improve recruiting processes, tools, and interview practices
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues to share market intelligence, sourcing strategies, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Direct experience recruiting within business development, capture, proposals, government relations, program management, or adjacent growth functions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent searches across different functional areas while maintaining quality and candidate experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to advise, calibrate, and build trust with hiring managers across levels
  • Data-informed mindset, including tracking pipeline metrics and using conversion data to diagnose search health
  • Clear, effective communication with candidates and hiring teams
  • Ability to move fast and prioritize without compromising quality or candidate experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
  • Preferred: experience recruiting in defense, aerospace, or related industries
  • Preferred: familiarity with the DoD acquisition ecosystem, including PEOs and capture campaigns
  • Preferred: experience recruiting across multiple BD sub-functions
  • Preferred: track record improving recruiting processes, interview design, or assessment frameworks
  • Preferred: working knowledge of security clearance processes
  • Preferred: established network in the defense BD talent market
