About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the key product representative for the Specialty Therapeutics Salesforce across varied clinical specialties
- Drive physician and patient identification, market development, and disease/brand awareness for business unit therapies
- Maintain a high level of knowledge within targeted disease states and product labeling
- Achieve territory sales targets and other business objectives through account and customer-specific strategies and ownership
- Drive utilization of assigned products for appropriate patients through clinical promotion and education to targeted HCPs
- Build and execute territory strategy and account-specific plans to drive clinician and patient identification, brand awareness, and product growth
- Continuously assess growth opportunities
- Prioritize and manage resources, activities, and time to optimize account access and development
- Collaborate with the Specialty Therapeutics Team and Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient HUB teams to support seamless patient onboarding and treatment initiation
- Demonstrate integrity and compliance in all interactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of demonstrated success in Specialty Pharmaceutical sales, or equitable work experience as a Registered Dietician is required
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory pharmaceutical industry requirements
- Experience leading and executing territory-level business planning activities
- Understanding and experience working with in-house patient support services
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as needed, for HCP or patient events (both in person and virtual)
- Depending on geography, must be able to manage a multi-state territory with a diverse customer base
- Driver's license required
- Overnight travel by air or car required, ranging from 40% - 60% depending on geography and business needs of the individual territory
- Product launch experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of government and commercial payers preferred
- Understanding of patient services and specialty channel distribution preferred
- Advance degree in business or science preferred
