About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Qualify new customers and generate new business
- Develop business relationships and achieve pipeline and bookings results according to assigned targets
- Develop sales and account penetration using customer, competitive, and market intelligence
- Develop proactive solutions and responses to proposals using Flex and Anord Mardix capabilities
- Create, drive, and manage a personal pipeline aligned with business unit strategy
- Devise strategies with Regional VPs and the Business Development team to meet client requirements
- Research customer organizations, products, market position, goals, sourcing strategy, suppliers, manufacturing locations, competition, and future directions
- Own and execute account strategies to close business
- Manage pipeline development, contract negotiation, and approval processes
- Establish customer relationships and effective communication with Account Managers and execution teams
- Research customers’ business strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities
- Achieve personal booking targets
- Define business priorities and manage business development activities to expand market penetration
- Present, sell, and deliver Flex solutions spanning concept development, design and engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, and services
- Develop account plans, proposals, customer relationships, quoting intelligence, and customer meetings
- Negotiate deals and service agreements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Experience in the Data Center/Critical Power business development, focusing on strategic Data Center growth in North America
- Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers
- Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, and ROI indicators
- Mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and complete understanding of the function and related businesses
