About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and support Autodesk Vault
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Business teams
  • Support and interact with SolidWorks PDM (EPDM) and PTC Windchill environments
  • Lead and contribute to system improvement and development initiatives
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and audit readiness, including structured data governance activities
  • Support BOM, Item Master, and material master processes, ensuring alignment across engineering and downstream systems
  • Troubleshoot CAD and PDM/PLM issues across Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Eplan
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices
  • Support data migration, consolidation, and standardisation efforts where required
  • Travel occasionally to site for key projects or stakeholder engagement
  • Design, define, and implement system requirements for complex customer systems/products and prepare studies and research existing systems prior to transition to manufacturing for new product introduction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven Experience with Autodesk Vault administration
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks PDM (EPDM) and PTC Windchill
  • Working knowledge or exposure to multiple PDM/PLM systems in a multi-tool environment
  • Experience in a multi-CAD engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of engineering data structures
  • Strong understanding of BOM and Material Management system and Item Master management
  • Strong understanding of data governance and audit processes
  • Demonstrated experience supporting system improvements, enhancements, or implementations
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Experience with ERP integration, such as SAP or equivalent (desirable)
  • Knowledge of automation, APIs, or scripting for system customization (desirable)
  • Familiarity with engineering and quality standards, such as ISO (desirable)
  • Exposure to global engineering environments or distributed teams (desirable)
