About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full sales cycle for Rest of Market prospects and customers in the Fuels & Lubricants industries, from first conversation through close, onboarding, expansion, and renewal
  • Source prospects, work inbound leads, and partner with BDRs to qualify and accept handoffs
  • Lead executive-level discovery and value-based presentations connecting Anova's IIoT tank-monitoring and telemetry capabilities to customer challenges and quantify ROI
  • Scope solutions, run product demonstrations, and remove technical barriers to closing with Sales Engineers
  • Negotiate and finalize pricing and contract terms, complete order details, and hand off to deployment
  • Lead onboarding and deployment, define success criteria, identify key contacts, configure reporting, set customers up in the platform, and track installation progress
  • Lead customer training and train designated customer trainers on installation
  • Integrate tank monitoring with customers' ERP systems through compatibility review and user training
  • Conduct regular health check-ins, resolve issues, configure reporting, and serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 installation or technical issues
  • Grow accounts through performance assessment, internal advocacy, value-added products, and expansion opportunities
  • Build renewal plans six months before contract end, flag risks, and secure renewal terms
  • Manage pipeline and forecast, maintaining current opportunity and account data in Salesforce
  • Maintain expertise in Anova's IIoT product portfolio, competitive landscape, and Fuels & Lubricants best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Experience with value-based, consultative selling and presenting ROI-driven business cases to owners and executive-level decision makers
  • Experience negotiating and finalizing contract terms and pricing
  • Strong working knowledge of a modern CRM, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Comfort learning and explaining technical products, including hardware and cloud-based software platforms
  • Preferred: Experience selling into the Fuels & Lubricants industries
  • Preferred: Experience in inventory, logistics, or asset management fields, such as supply chain or distribution
  • Preferred: Experience in IIoT, industrial technology, SaaS, telemetry, or monitoring solutions
  • Preferred: Experience with customer onboarding, training, account management, or renewals
  • Preferred: Familiarity with ERP systems or software integration
