Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct daily operations and administration of all HR functions, including employment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational learning and development, internal communication, and talent management
  • Develop and implement an employee experience strategy aligned with organizational values, culture, and objectives
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs to improve satisfaction, retention, and commitment
  • Design and implement employee-focused initiatives, programs, and policies
  • Ensure employee experience initiatives align with the organization’s brand and culture
  • Develop communication strategies to inform and engage employees about HR programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR initiatives and employee experience improvements
  • Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in employee experience and engagement
  • Develop HR policies and programs aligned with the Bank’s mission and industry trends
  • Advise employees at all levels on HR issues
  • Recommend performance evaluations, salary changes, and promotions
  • Assist with employee selection, interviews, and qualification recommendations
  • Advise on and follow up regarding company policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Administer, coordinate, participate in, and assist with projects and activities
  • Coach and counsel employees and managers
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and monitor legislative changes
  • Provide backup support to HR and training staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field required
  • Master’s degree or other related graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources management required
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Computer competency required
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other state or federal laws
  • Leadership, customer service, oral and written communication, interpersonal, decision-making, teamwork, deadline management, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Occasional travel to visit market locations
  • Ability to perform sedentary work
