About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research, recommend, and manage implementation of bank initiatives involving emerging technologies, products, services, and regulatory changes
Project-manage moderate to large-scale initiatives aligned with the bank’s operational goals
Overcome obstacles, adhere to timelines, coordinate project team members, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and evaluate project performance
Collaborate with Business Systems and Operations Management to optimize application implementation and utilization
Coordinate across business units, IT, Business Systems, Legal, Risk, and Compliance
Document projects to mitigate risks, monitor compliance, and manage operational changes
Track and report project budgets, technology forecasts, and business case viability
Monitor emerging products and technology in the financial industry
Lead recommendations for new products, services, and technology
Research regulatory changes and recommend proactive system and process modifications
Report to the EVP/Chief Operating Officer and regularly interact with executive leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum five years of project or program management experience within the financial services industry
Minimum seven years of banking experience
Experience with Core Providers preferred
Computer experience required
Exceptional communication skills, including ability to present complex data to executive leaders
Conflict resolution skills
Critical thinking skills
Project management and planning skills
Ability to build collaborative relationships
Occasional travel required
