About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative and operational support for CEO ANZ Vietnam
- Support country model review exercises
- Build and track country MIS, including cross-border referrals, business drivers, financials, and performance against targets
- Manage executives’ travel, accommodation, expenses, vendor payments, and event logistics
- Coordinate performance analytics and business insights, and resolve issues with metric providers
- Assist with the 3-year Strategic Plan and monitor follow-up with business units
- Drive projects assigned by the CEO
- Ensure data accuracy in ANZ reporting systems and mapping processes
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers on credit growth forecasts
- Coordinate executive instructions with individuals and business units
- Provide oversight and coordination of projects affecting Vietnam
- Manage day-to-day administration of the CEO’s office, including correspondence, presentations, reports, filing systems, and call screening
- Improve the effectiveness and flow of office activities
- Provide central coordination and help desk services for administrative and operational services
- Support preparation and analysis of business information and data
- Coordinate tasks and procedures required under Vietnam law for a locally incorporated entity
- Monitor Vietnam’s adherence to group, divisional, process, policy, and procedural requirements
- Work with Risk and Compliance to investigate risk issues, identify solutions, and coordinate remediation
- Advise and collaborate with BU Heads in Vietnam to support target delivery
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, staff setup, and performance review coordination
- Collaborate with regional and divisional stakeholders on queries, information requests, and projects
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure travel arrangements comply with company policy
- Uphold bank values, business principles, compliance measures, corporate regulatory obligations, governance principles, policies, and local laws
- Contribute to audits, regulator visits, investigations, audit-item tracking, and non-financial risk uplift activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in a secretarial and personal assistant role
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with stakeholders, draft minutes, and convey information accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks while handling multiple responsibilities
- Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues professionally
- Ability to build strong, open, and collaborative working relationships
- Initiative and proactive issue resolution
- Experience in administration in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Qualification and experience in a business-related field
- MIS, project management, and business planning experience
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong resilience and ability to cope with ambiguity and stressful situations
- Strong verbal and written communication, client focus, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within a large global financial institution
- Demonstrated understanding of credit and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with remote teams
