Transportation Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams delivering transportation infrastructure projects
- Manage projects from pursuit through design, permitting, bidding, and construction
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client communication
- Lead project delivery teams through design, permitting, bidding, and construction support
- Oversee quality control efforts and technical reviews
- Support business development, proposals, interviews, and client relationship management
- Coordinate with FDOT, local agencies, utilities, and permitting authorities
- Guide technical staff through successful project delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Experience managing projects for FDOT, counties, municipalities, or other public-sector clients
- Strong understanding of FDOT standards, project delivery processes, and transportation design
- Ability to lead teams, develop staff, and build long-term client relationships
