About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production operations
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Analyze operational data and identify opportunities to improve inventory control, product quality, throughput, material flow, productivity, ergonomics, and workplace safety
- Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities
- Assist with process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation
- Support the implementation and tracking of improvement projects
- Create reports, presentations, and visual tools to communicate project progress and results
- Work alongside team members to drive positive operational change and continuous improvement efforts
- Participate in projects involving lead time reduction, product quality, fabrication capacity, machine utilization, process redesign, waste elimination, workflow, and material flow
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field of study
- Junior or Senior standing preferred
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in manufacturing operations and process improvement
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for driving positive change
