About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full delivery lifecycle for the portfolio of concurrent engagements under the DIR MSS contract
- Maintain program- and project-level plans, milestone schedules, and RAID logs
- Manage the full-service request and task order lifecycle from intake through closeout
- Serve as primary liaison among Apollo leadership, business units, SAIC, DIR, customer stakeholders, project managers, assessment teams, and engineering teams
- Set communication and escalation cadence for each engagement
- Own the program budget, including revenue/cost forecasting, staffing and vendor costs, margin, and utilization reporting
- Identify cross-project risks and issues threatening program-level objectives
- Manage Apollo’s CJIS program, including background investigation clearances and recurring reporting
- Contribute to PMO process and tooling improvement
- Support capture and proposal activity with delivery estimates and past performance data
- Develop internal and external stakeholder update reports
- Observe the current Program Manager during the first 30 days
- Assume joint ownership of reporting cadence, obligations register, forecast, and clearance roster within 60 days
- Run the program and own the forecast, escalation path, and SAIC governance cadence by 90 days
- Deliver the first full monthly program review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated delivery experience in cybersecurity, IT managed services, or technology consulting (assessments, security operations, incident response, or compliance)
- Experience delivering under a government contract, including deliverable acceptance, contractual reporting, and audit expectations
- Direct ownership of a program budget including forecasting, spend tracking, invoicing, and margin reporting
- Ability to manage a prime contractor or channel partner relationship from the subcontractor side, including flow-down obligations and joint governance
- Fluency with a Professional Services Automation platform such as Cloud Coach, Kantata, OpenAir, Certinia, or comparable
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
- Exceptional written communication and strong facilitation
- Rigorous organizational discipline with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background investigation, meet CJIS personnel security requirements, and maintain eligibility throughout employment
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred
- Direct experience with Texas DIR contract vehicles and Texas public sector customers preferred
- Familiarity with the Texas Cybersecurity Framework, Texas Administrative Code §202, TX-RAMP, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, and CIS Controls preferred
- Working knowledge of the CJIS Security Policy preferred
- Experience with services revenue recognition across time-and-materials, fixed-fee, and milestone-based structures preferred
- Prior experience managing a subcontract under a large systems integrator such as SAIC, Leidos, Accenture, or Deloitte preferred
- Based in Austin or Central Texas preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete a background check and obtain CJIS certification
