About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide Continuous Improvement and Safety thinking throughout supply chain operations across AIT business units
  • Influence OE analysts, DC Managers, and other key leaders
  • Lead and execute continuous improvement projects
  • Develop cross-functional relationships
  • Identify improvement opportunities using data, analysis, and observation
  • Establish lean principles in core operating processes
  • Empower associates through change management
  • Understand and communicate key metrics for world-class distribution center results
  • Align DC leadership teams on metrics and actions
  • Manage projects and analytical resources
  • Implement daily, weekly, and monthly measurement systems
  • Analyze transactional data and business results to identify opportunities and root causes
  • Coach OE Analysts and focus analytical resources on outcome-producing projects
  • Drive site and regional leaders toward optimum results and consistency
  • Communicate project progress and results to senior management
  • Provide thought leadership on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
  • 3-5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and/or project management
  • Preference for experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other OpEx platforms
  • Detailed experience in field operations at an industrial distribution business preferred
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to function independently and as a team member
  • Deep commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to take on new responsibilities, meet deadlines, and produce quality results
  • SAP & EWM transactional experience preferred
