About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery conversations with enterprise customers and prospects
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and solution workshops
- Explain how AppLogic solutions improve application visibility, user experience, network performance, and operational efficiency
- Support proof-of-value and proof-of-concept engagements demonstrating measurable customer outcomes
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams on customer requirements and technical questions
- Develop expertise in modern data center, cloud, AI, and GPU-powered environments
- Support discussions around AI infrastructure and GPU networking opportunities alongside senior technical specialists
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Network Engineering, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, or a related role
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
- Experience explaining technical solutions to technical and business audiences
- Exposure to cloud technologies, virtualization, enterprise networking, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, security, or data center environments
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across customers, partners, and internal teams
- Foundational data center knowledge covering compute, storage, networking, leaf-spine topology, north-south and east-west traffic, front-end IP networks and back-end GPU fabrics, tenant isolation, and redundancy
- Foundational knowledge of AI and machine-learning concepts, including model training versus inference, generative AI applications, and agentic AI workflows
- Ability to read a basic data center network diagram and discuss bandwidth, latency, packet loss, connection rates, and traffic direction
- Ability to validate workload traffic-pattern assumptions with customer data
- Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies used to deploy and scale network solutions
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, firewalls, and packet-flow troubleshooting
