About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee the assigned Engineering or Service scope, including technical execution, quality, schedule, and costs, from project handover through project closeout
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate, Sector, Business, and EHS standards and directives
  • Coordinate a team of Lead Engineers across the various integration disciplines
  • Act as the primary customer contact for technical integration matters
  • Coordinate engineering resources and interfaces with the overall Project Execution Manager (PEM) and partners
  • Ensure the timely delivery of engineering deliverables
  • Prepare and monitor the Engineering Deliverable Module (EDM) structure, open actions, and project reviews
  • Co-ensure contractual regulatory compliance with the Compliance team
  • Engage the expertise required to resolve project issues
  • Identify Nuclear Safety items and activities and ensure compliance with ITNS-A activities
  • Provide technical support to the construction team during execution, installation, and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and the approval cycle for engineering documentation
  • Provide engineering information and support the Project Manager during project reviews
  • Develop, control, and coordinate the Engineering schedule with the Project Planner
  • Manage the Engineering budget with the Finance Manager
  • Establish procedures specific to the project scope
  • Complete Gate Reviews and Design Reviews on time and close out the associated actions
  • Monitor and escalate risks
  • Use the Lessons Learned tool and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in technical project management
  • Knowledge of power plants and the various engineering disciplines
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or extensive experience in engineering coordination
  • At least 7 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer or in power plant engineering
  • Meticulous, proactive, and autonomous

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset
  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural company
  • Ability to travel for short periods to customer sites, suppliers, or project sites
