About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the project scope covering design, manufacturing, testing, logistics, and contract follow-up
  • Understand the contractual requirements and ensure their application throughout execution
  • Act as the primary customer interface and produce monthly progress reports
  • Lead technical and commercial negotiations and organize customer audits or inspections
  • Lead and coordinate the engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, planning, finance, and contract management teams
  • Verify that delivered equipment complies with contractual requirements, technical standards, regulations, internal rules, and applicable laws
  • Participate in the Project Core Team and weekly progress meetings
  • Contribute to project procedures and strategic decisions, and share lessons learned
  • Support the Construction and Commissioning teams through technical assistance, parts procurement, and document updates
  • Implement planning tools, performance indicators, and project governance routines
  • Identify roadblocks, propose solutions, and escalate them to the Project Director when necessary
  • Define and monitor the budget, expenditures, remaining costs, opportunities, risks, and action plans
  • Identify project function requirements and anticipate their evolution
  • Regularly participate in operations at suppliers’ sites, the Arabelle Solutions workshop, and the project site
  • Promote an environment that complies with health and safety rules and encourages respect and the sharing of ideas
  • Draft contractual correspondence, prepare claims, and negotiate with the customer
  • Participate in technical and commercial clarifications and organize in-person meetings when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of experience in the energy industry
  • Experience in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, or project management for large or complex projects
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of conventional island equipment preferred
  • Executive communication skills to interact with Arabelle Solutions executives and customers
  • In-depth knowledge of project management fundamentals, including commercial management, planning, and project controls
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural project teams in an international environment
  • Proven experience leading teams toward project management excellence
  • Strong commercial acumen to assess risks and opportunities and conduct commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Fluency in English and French
