About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work alongside frontline team members to understand scheduling, coaching, and shift management
- Observe and support a safety-first, inclusive team environment
- Shadow leadership in recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
- Maintain a visible, engaged presence on the floor during service periods
- Support daily unit or site operations under manager direction
- Apply Aramark operating standards and client contractual requirements
- Assist with inventory management, cost tracking, and vendor coordination
- Contribute to labor management, food or supply cost, and client satisfaction goals
- Support special events, promotions, and service changes
- Participate in internship development programming, virtual workshops, and a capstone project
- Engage with an assigned ERG mentor
- Complete milestone check-ins and development reviews
- Build relationships within the intern cohort and broader Aramark network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
- Hospitality, Operations Management, Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Facilities Management, Business, or related majors preferred
- Rising juniors and seniors preferred
- Demonstrated leadership potential through campus involvement, prior work experience, or extracurricular activities
- Strong verbal, written, and professional communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
