About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Digital team with foundational and exploratory projects involving sales, people, or other applicable business data
  • Extract, analyze, and visualize data points
  • Manage projects from concept through execution
  • Work with business stakeholders, development teams, and/or vendors
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results
  • Manage and plan work, resourcing, prioritization, process alignment, and issue resolution for concurrent projects
  • Understand business requirements for reporting, data products, and dashboards
  • Assess project requirements, create detailed project plans, and align delivery tasks
  • Plan, facilitate, and manage workshops with stakeholders, architects, engineering, and other teams
  • Review project schedules with Data and Analytics leadership and affected stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, adjust plans, and report project status regularly
  • Guide team members, unblock tasks, and lead agile backlog refinement and grooming
  • Use and improve agile Scrum methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and embed expertise in relevant business areas and technologies
  • Lead data-focused teams delivering projects for Digital and other groups
  • Organize product demonstrations and coordinate user training
  • Arrange reporting requirements aligned with business processes and decision-making
  • Represent the Data and Analytics team to the business and advocate for products and change management
  • Assist Data and Analytics leadership with other tasks and projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or the equivalent field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, working with Digital teams (ecommerce, guest analytics, or similar) and/or Data Analytics role
  • 1+ year experience leading a team
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital analytics tools, and digital business models
  • Experience working on the Strategy with leaders to bring value to the Digital Business through Data & Insights
  • Experience leading a team with different skills and demographics
  • Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience learning and understanding new business processes and business needs
  • Familiarity with the Data and Analytics product lifecycle
  • High level of analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong knowledge of Data Analytics Platforms and tools like Databricks, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Proactive identification of root causes and development of solutions
  • Flexibility and adaptability when faced with ambiguity
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and doing what is right
  • Passion for getting outside and living it
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to work on Pacific Standard Time hours
