About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the design and deployment of SAP S4 Logistics solutions
- Participate with project and operational teams to align business needs with module and solution functions
- Support project phases and technological solutions
- Collaborate with business counterparts to design and create SAP solutions that improve business processes and support business goals
- Follow documentation, best-practice, and change-management standards
- Coordinate and execute Change Requests from process design through functional specifications and implementation
- Coordinate resource partners for end-to-end process coverage
- Gather and interpret user/system requirements, pain points, and process issues
- Develop and maintain change-request prioritization
- Lead detailed business-process blueprint activities and create blueprints and use cases/user stories
- Prepare functional specifications for workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
- Execute unit, functional, and system-integration testing to Arc’teryx standards
- Provide second- and third-level support and troubleshoot and resolve issues with key users
- Participate in developing and reviewing training materials and delivering training when required
- Maintain knowledge of SAP best practices, roadmaps, and technologies for architectural and design decisions
- Partner with Technology teams on cross-functional projects
- Work with internal and external partners to deliver logistics solutions
- Contribute to the SAP Distribution & Transportation roadmap
- Solve complex SAP problems and automate or reduce non-value-added tasks
- Partner with Sourcing, Omnichannel, and Finance teams on deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or technical diploma, with 8+ years’ experience in SAP System development and sustainment, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of recent experience with distribution and transportation business processes, ideally in retail, wholesale, fashion, footwear or similar
- 6+ years of functional experience in SAP Logistics and EWM
- Background implementing SAP S4 and/or SAP FMS, SAP AFS
- Knowledge of SAP integration with automated warehouse solutions and 3PLs
- Experience with SAP GTS or Ship ERP is an additional asset
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with a team
- Comfortable facilitating content and product solutions to all levels of leadership
- Adaptable and forward thinking
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
- Ability to inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
