About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze sales and inventory performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across wholesale accounts
- Support in-season sales opportunities by reviewing available-to-sell inventory, recommending additional orders, and assisting with the weekly order process
- Create and maintain business reporting using Excel, Power BI, and SPS Commerce
- Help the Sales team make informed decisions
- Improve team processes and data organization
- Support account documentation and maintain accurate information
- Identify more efficient ways of working
- Interpret retail sell-through, inventory, and order data within a wholesale commercial environment
- Translate analysis into actionable sales recommendations
- Collaborate with Sales, planning, operations, and wholesale partners
- Communicate recommendations clearly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, preferably in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets and interested in finding the business story behind data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including organizing data, using formulas, and reviewing large data sets
- Experience with pivot tables or lookups is required
- Curious about Power BI and data visualization; previous experience helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and understanding that accurate product, inventory, and order data is essential
- Ability to manage recurring weekly responsibilities while progressing longer-term projects and meeting deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently once trained while collaborating with Sales and cross-functional partners
- Ability to simplify work, improve organization, and create processes others can follow
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SPS Commerce, Microsoft PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint, and applicable ERP or order-management systems
- Experience with retail, wholesale, inventory, SPS Commerce, ERP systems, or data reporting is considered an asset
- Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions
- Flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
- Commitment to continuous improvement and doing what is right
