About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Team Lead or AVP Premium Audit
- Perform and coordinate processing of medium to complex premium audits with minimal supervision
- Produce audit statements of earned premium based on completed field audits from staff premium auditors and vendors
- Review, enter, process, invoice, and bill premium audits
- Collaborate with external audit vendors, staff auditors, and regional and corporate team resources to meet service-level commitments
- Perform quality reviews of multi-state Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Auto audits
- Review vendor and staff auditor work for conformance with unique captive specifications
- Pull and analyze WC experience modifications using NCCI and independent bureau state websites
- Calculate audit premiums and manually calculate Auto and General Liability surcharges
- Perform data entry and quality checks across multiple systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry
- 3–5 years of insurance experience
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Customer-focused with attention to detail
- Well organized, with the ability to prioritize duties and multitask between captives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed, showing personal accountability and a sense of urgency
