About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the healthcare underwriting team with professional liability, general liability, umbrella, and excess coverages
  • Assist in underwriting tasks and analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Actively completing area of study in Insurance & Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant program
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
  • College level—current Junior or Senior student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2027–May 2028
  • Strong proficiency in understanding financial statements
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong analytical skillset, with a keen ability to think through issues
  • Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner
  • Team player who collaborates effectively
  • Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment
