About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create all necessary documentation to support aggregate financial and state-specific Workers’ Compensation data call reporting for all of Arch’s business divisions
- Assist in resolving Medical Data Call (MDC) and Indemnity Data Call (IDC) inquiries from data collection organizations
- Assist in resolving Unit Statistical Reports (USR) bureau criticisms and other external inquiries
- Work with staff to remedy systemic data anomalies
- Assist in fulfilling WC surcharge and assessment payment obligations
- Create or enhance process documentation at an individual report level to support seamless transition to new workflows upon account renewal onto Arch policies
- Partner with Claims Data Quality and IT to address data issues affecting timely and accurate regulatory reporting
- Serve as key contact for obligations mirrored to handle Allianz legacy functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of the Workers Compensation line of business
- Firm understanding of the various bureaus’ USR and financial data call requirements
- Intermediate to advanced competency with MS Office, including SQL, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A minimum of five years of experience in a Statistical Reporting unit, reporting on Workers Compensation experience via USR, Data Calls, MDC and IDC
- Demonstrated knowledge of WC statistical plans and the various Data Quality Programs
