About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work alongside an account executive to evangelize, design, propose, and demonstrate business value to customers
  • Provide technical expertise through presentations, demos, POVs, and dialogue that educate prospects and drive the Arctic Wolf value proposition
  • Drive new-business acquisition sales and obtain the technical win throughout the buyer’s journey
  • Participate in discovery conversations to understand prospective customers’ needs and validate solution alignment
  • Document customer environments, including security tooling, network design, authentication, and cloud services
  • Demonstrate differentiators across endpoint protection, security operations, vulnerability management, and cloud security
  • Build and maintain strong contacts in channel communities
  • Participate in territory-growth activities including webinars, channel enablement, and field marketing events
  • Mentor new hires on technical knowledge, demo and presentation best practices, and sales processes
  • Foster knowledge sharing through Slack, team meetings, and broader enablement efforts
  • Perform duties in accordance with Arctic Wolf’s information security policies, standards, processes, and controls

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must live in the territory of Nashville, TN, Knoxville, TN, or Chattanooga, TN
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably in a presales engineering capacity or consulting role focused on security solutions
  • 5+ years supporting, delivering, or designing enterprise IT systems; security-focused systems desired
  • Extensive technical experience in Networking, Security, Identity Management, Cloud Services, and Windows/Linux/Mac
  • In-depth knowledge of Networking, Identity Management, Cloud Services, Private Cloud, and Windows/Linux/Mac
  • Technical understanding of security tools and strategies, including security frameworks, security operations, incident response, SIEM, XDR, EDR/EPP, IPS/IDS/NDR
  • Hands-on solution demo and POV capability for endpoint and XDR solutions
  • Understanding of the entire sales process from qualification to closure through the channel partner experience
  • Ability to manage via SFDC and other tools
  • Knowledge and training in MEDDPICC and Technical Win processes
  • Knowledge of business applications such as Slack, Salesforce, and M365/Office
  • Knowledge of modern application deployment technologies including container and cloud-based models
  • Ability to publicly speak on behalf of Arctic Wolf in larger forums
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • CISSP, GCIH, CISA, CISM, or other security-focused certification preferred
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure AZ-900, VMware VCP/VCAP, or other public/private cloud-focused certification preferred
  • Demonstrated consistent quota overachievement in previous pre-sales engineering roles preferred
  • Background check required
  • Must satisfy applicable U.S. export-control authorization requirements if access to controlled technology is required
