About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures online for blended and distance-learning students
- Support the student experience and achieve outcome-driven metrics for progression, continuation and student satisfaction
- Lead modules and ensure consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work
- Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments and provide high-quality feedback
- Lead or support creation of new programmes and refresh existing programmes to align with industry trends and employer requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide academic advice and support to students
- Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support and assessment
- Report to the Senior HRM Lecturer
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- CIPD qualification
- Membership with the CIPD
- AdvanceHE Recognition – FHEA, or willingness to achieve it within 12–18 months
- Experience with current and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices in Higher Education
- Ability to contribute knowledge and understanding to grow programmes and provide excellent student outcomes
- Experience teaching Human Resources Management is highly desirable
- Evidence of successful experience working in programme teams
- Ability to work as a creative and inspiring lecturer and colleague
- Must be based in the UK
- Candidates without current UK right to work may apply if eligible for an alternative visa route
