About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, develop, and monitor postgraduate and undergraduate programmes
- Ensure high levels of student outcomes, engagement, and subject knowledge
- Undertake curriculum development and quality management and enhancement
- Deliver the full range of teaching duties
- Conduct ongoing programme review and enhancement
- Ensure teaching is research-informed and up to date
- Design and/or lead development of teaching materials
- Support new course proposals and creation of programmes and modules
- Build internal and external networks
- Develop links with relevant professional bodies and academic groups
- Contribute to planning and managing academic resources
- Allocate academic staff workload and ensure resources are appropriately deployed
- Support delivery and development of undergraduate, postgraduate, and degree apprenticeship programmes
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or equivalent in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline
- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) or above
- Experience as a Programme Team Leader
- Proven track record of supporting colleagues and leading academic teams or module leaders
- Industry engagement and knowledge exchange with industry partners desirable
- Senior or Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA/PFHEA) desirable
- Relevant professional accreditation, certification, or chartered status through bodies such as APM, PMI, CILT, or CIPS desirable
- Applicants must be based in the UK
- Part-time applicants should indicate whether they wish to be considered for a full-time or part-time position
