About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure Ardmac team members and supply chain partners across European projects comply with employment, social welfare and local registration processes
- Promote best-practice compliance in each jurisdiction of operation
- Provide compliance administration and control for employment documentation, visa requirements, residency permits, social security numbers, contracts, employment terms and travel documents
- Improve compliance-related processes for Ardmac and subcontractors
- Conduct regular Ardmac site audits and prepare for third-party or regulatory reviews
- Act as the first point of contact for compliance on European projects
- Conduct observations and spot-checks, document non-compliant practices and coordinate corrective closure
- Provide management with documented conformance and non-conformance findings
- Coordinate visa, work permit and immigration applications and renewals
- Manage right-to-work verification and compliance records across Europe
- Conduct subcontractor compliance audits, onboarding reviews and risk assessments
- Review and verify subcontractor employment, social security, payroll, right-to-work and statutory documentation
- Coordinate posted-worker notifications, overseas registrations and country-specific employment registrations
- Review working time, labour pay rates, social security and taxation compliance
- Provide ad hoc HR support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of EU Employment Law would be an advantage
- Knowledge of social security and visa requirements within EU countries would be an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to adopt other IT systems
- Experience of using AI to streamline work is a distinct advantage
- Working knowledge of a second European language would be beneficial but is not essential
- Flexibility to travel as required to Ardmac projects and locations across Europe
