About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers by phone and email regarding product inquiries
  • Support Amazon customers through Buyer-Seller Messaging, A-to-Z claims, and returns
  • Resolve issues relating to orders, returns, and technical inquiries quickly and professionally
  • Coordinate with logistics, returns, and support teams
  • Maintain the ticketing system and accurately document inquiries
  • Develop creative ideas to improve customer service
  • Work full-time, 40 hours per week, from October through March; during the summer, work 20 to 40 hours per week on a flexible, mutually agreed basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Native-level German, both written and spoken
  • Experience in Amazon customer service
  • Knowledge of Seller Central, Buyer-Seller Messaging, A-to-Z claims, and returns processing
  • Telephone support experience
  • Experience working from home
  • A quiet place for making calls
  • Flexibility with working hours: 40 hours per week from October through March; 20 to 40 hours during the summer, by agreement
  • Your most recent vocational training or degree program must have been completed at least two years ago; no formal training or degree is required
  • Friendly, helpful, and patient, including in stressful situations
  • Strong problem-solving orientation
  • Reliable and self-motivated approach to work
  • Basic technical understanding of sports equipment is desirable
  • Confident using laptops, tablets, and smartphones
