About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM solutions across procurement, inventory management, and materials management processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and SAP configurations
Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, goods receipts, goods movements, invoice verification, and vendor management
Leverage SAP Ariba to support procurement transformation initiatives and integration with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA systems
Configure and support SAP MM functionality, including purchasing, inventory management, material master data, account determination, and valuation
Support integration between SAP MM and FI/CO, SD, and WM/EWM
Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
Support UAT, post-implementation support, and training activities
Identify process improvements within P2P, IM, and MM modules
Troubleshoot functional, integration, and configuration issues
Develop and maintain configuration guides, test plans, and user guides
Stay current with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and procurement best practices
Travel up to 80% depending on the project

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in SAP MM, procurement, or materials management consulting, including implementation and support experience
Strong understanding of SAP MM and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes
Experience with SAP Ariba solutions and integration with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA
Hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration, including purchasing, purchase orders, goods receipts, inventory movements, invoice verification, and material master data
Solid understanding of SAP integration with SD, WM, and FICO
Experience with functional documentation, testing, defect resolution, and data migration activities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
SAP certification in Materials Management, Sourcing and Procurement, or related SAP solutions is preferred
Experience with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, or SAP Business Network is preferred
Experience in discrete manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, or other manufacturing environments is preferred
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA procurement capabilities is preferred
Experience with inventory optimization, subcontracting, vendor evaluation, and quality management processes is preferred
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery frameworks is preferred
