About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise a team of test specialists and manage complex, state-of-the-art test programs
- Lead analysis efforts to dissect output data, interface with the client, and provide clear results and recommendations
- Translate complex program requirements into testable requirements
- Analyze and recommend test cycles, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives
- Manage diverse organizations and personalities to execute successful test programs
- Apply complex test methodologies and compensate for limitations and restrictions
- Develop overall test strategy, including objectives, methodologies, analysis, and schedules
- Independently assess system performance against stated requirements
- Apply test discipline to design a thorough and executable test program
- Apply use cases and user stories to create test cases
- Support a defense procurement and payment platform modernization and sustainment program involving software modernization, legacy-code refactoring, Agile/DevSecOps delivery, AWS GovCloud operations, CI/CD automation, cybersecurity, AI/ML integration, automated testing, and performance improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Secret Clearance
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in quality gates, test coverage, release readiness, and configuration controls
- Experience testing software applications, including system, regression, acceptance, end-to-end, performance, automation, and release management testing
- Experience in Agile
- Knowledge of system operations, engineering, and DevOps integration
- Experience developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools
- Detailed familiarity with commercial test environments and operating systems
- Experience supervising a team of test specialists and managing complex, state-of-the-art test programs
- Experience translating complex program requirements into testable requirements
- Experience analyzing and recommending test cycles, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical organization
