About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate the entire Accounts Payable process for the Americas region
Ensure invoices are processed and payments are made promptly and according to regulations
Identify, monitor, and resolve PO invoice coordination errors
Drive backlog reduction related to PO automation with procurement, IT, and processing teams
Manage intercompany settlements for Americas entities
Monitor performance through dashboards and reports on metrics for the processing team in India
Provide leadership with insight into backlog, exceptions, and regional AP performance
Own and resolve Americas blocking issues with internal partners, vendors, and the global AP team
Coordinate payment scheduling and processing of vendor and rental invoices across Americas countries
Conduct monthly GRNI monitoring and reconciliation in alignment with GL expectations
Serve as the regional Concur Administrator
Manage Concur user support, policy application, and blocking issues
Coordinate regional travel and expense submissions
Manage exceptions and resolve inquiries
Support statutory and regulatory requirements for each Americas country
Ensure accurate documentation and timely audit response
Participate in global and regional process improvement, automation, and AP alignment projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations
Experience ideally in a multinational or shared services environment
Strong knowledge of Americas regional finance practices, tax rules, and compliance regulations
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and Concur
Proficient in Excel
Experience with dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools
Ability to collaborate across countries, cultures, and time zones
Proven track record of handling customer issues and process exceptions
Experience working with offshore teams and shared service models
Analytical problem-solving skills
Proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement
