About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure adherence to Polish occupational health and safety regulations (Kodeks pracy, rozporządzenia BHP)
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments and maintain detailed documentation
  • Coordinate and deliver required OSH training for new hires and periodic refreshers
  • Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses; prepare detailed reports
  • Coordinate medical examinations (badania wstępne, okresowe, kontrolne)
  • Liaise with PIP, Sanepid, and other regulatory authorities to ensure compliance
  • Maintain OSH records and internal audit schedules
  • Advise management on safety improvements and legal updates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education or post-graduate certificate in BHP/OSH (per Rozporządzenie MEN 2004)
  • Proven experience in an OSH role
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and BHP regulations
  • Proficiency in Polish (required); English is a plus
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
