About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define technical product requirements and high-level architectural specifications
  • Ensure feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms
  • Produce quality code artifacts
  • Ensure quality code is checked in to avoid broken builds
  • Participate in scrum processes including estimating, grooming, standups, code reviews, and test case reviews
  • Support development of strategy, frameworks, standard processes, and development patterns
  • Design and implement cloud-native deployment strategies, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD processes
  • Design and integrate agentic AI solutions operating within business rules, validation controls, and security guardrails
  • Identify and fix code-level problems quickly and efficiently
  • Work with teams in other geographic locations and accommodate different time zones
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Lead product development aligned with Aristocrat’s strategic product roadmap
  • Improve product performance, quality, processes, and standards
  • Ensure designs align with the system’s technical roadmap and support secure, scalable cloud architectures
  • Mentor and guide Associate Software Architects and Software Engineers

Requirements

  • Experience implementing AI-powered developer productivity solutions and engineering workflows
  • Experience deploying containerized AI workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of AI security, observability, model monitoring, prompt management, and responsible AI practices
  • Build server administration and deployment automation experience, including CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform (preferred)
  • Configuration management and deployment automation experience using Ansible (preferred)
  • Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
  • GitHub, SVN, and JIRA
  • SonarQube
  • MSSQL and T-SQL (5+ years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Expert level of software development lifecycle practices and implementations
  • Position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions
